Seth Dawson delivers a lesson on the hymn, Follow Me. You may have to listen with earphones, not sure what is up with the recordings today.

I do apologize I am having issues uploading from my phone the recordings. Lord willing they will be up momentary.
For those who are eager and want to continue their studies without break, I applaud you! I have been asked what we will be studying next and have decided to stay with the order given to us in the canon of the scriptures. Not because the order is holy, it is not; however, I must admit to a certain symmetry to the order of Paul's writings and after much prayer we will be continuing into the First book of Corinthians! This book addresses the church at Corinth who struggles with some issues and is given instruction on how best to live as people of God. Paul gives these instructions in a manner I believe will benefit the congregation at Menlo greatly. If you have noticed I have repeatedly alluded to First Corinthians several times over the last few months so it is high time we direct our studies there. So, if you have studied and run out of Romans already move into First Corinthians and we shall join you presently.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 (kjv)
Fewer places has a prayer been recorded that typifies this idea of boldness before God than 1 Chronicles 4:10. The prayer of Jabez is this: "And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested." We are called to be brave, bold as lions (Proverbs 28:1 "The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.") Be bold. Be courageous. Pray BIG prayers!
It was so great to see everyone who was able to make it out today! Above is the Romans 13 study the sermon was rather... visual intensive. I am trying to adapt it to the recording now. Remember if you are able we will be having Prayer Meeting Wednesday night at 7pm!
Prayer. It is on my mind once again due to our upcoming return to the building services on Sunday May 17th at 10am (don't forget)!
We are all very thankful to God for our church-family on Bell Street and I can not think of a more exciting time to be in the ministry of the Lord than when we have been kept away from each other for so long that we will come together with the force of atoms colliding! There will be an explosion of faith that will rock our community! I KNOW this will be the case because God said "where two or three are gathered together in my name there am I in the midst of them". I KNOW I will be showing up and I KNOW God is with me so when God shows up not only are there two gathered in His name but when God shows up THINGS HAPPEN! Remember when Zechariah and Elizabeth were at the end of their child bearing years and they gave up all hope they turned to God and HE SHOWED UP! Let me tell you something we need to pray! Pray for our congregation, pray for our decisions, pray for our talents, pray for our community and pray that God shows up in a BIG WAY as we come back together! It's all about to start!
LARGE POST! Please be patient as all parts of it load (especially if you are using a cell phone).
As a note: I recorded the sermon early so that my family and I could worship together this Mother's Day. (yes, Christin is off!) Please, use the following songs in your worship (remember to turn off autoplay if you happen to have it on in your YouTube Preferences). NEXT WEEK WE WILL BE BACK TOGETHER AT THE BUILDING! 10am for Romans 1, 11am for our sermon, "It's all about to start!" and then we will have a special prayer service of thankfulness next Sunday night at 5pm!
Please Pray for: Our continued faithfulness to the Lord, our love for one another, our thankfulness for returning next week to worship together at the building! Pray for zeal and courage to press forward into the community!Sermon: "Family"Lord's SupperPlease pray: My heart's desire for you all is that you continue to walk worthy of the name Christian!
